Born with Brown ethnicity but classified as White by the US census*, Sajad Amini is an Iranian-American artist and designer. He holds a bachelor's degree in Film and Cinema from the Sooreh Art University of Tehran. After relocating to the United States, he pursued further studies in Visual Studies at the Pacific Northwest College of Art. Later, he completed his MFA at the University of Oregon while shouldering a higher tax burden than allegedly the 45th US president. Throughout this time as Non-Resident Alien, he took Escitalopram 20mg daily while digesting the Travel Ban. Sajad served as an Asst. Prof. Graphic Design at Georgia State University during the scorching heat of Georgia before eventually moving to the cooler city of Chicago. Currently, he works as an Asst. Prof. // Design at DePaul University. His brain is often understaffed and struggles to process wt* is going on.
